The Center for Global Surgery Evaluation at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary develops impact assessment paradigms and tools for use in global surgery. These tools will evaluate the effects of delivery and training programs not just on the health of their target populations, but on financial stability, economic growth, knowledge retention and reductions in shame and social isolation.
